4-story residential building completed sometime around 1870 as a townhouse. It operated as a youth hostel in the early 21st century, and houses contains rental apartments. The facade is clad in red-painted brick, three bays wide. The entrance is at the left side, atop three brownstone steps, with a metal-and-glass door, narrow sidelights, and transom below a small, orange canvas canopy. The two single-windows to the left have iron grilles.

The upper floors have three bays of single-windows, and all of them have brownstone sills and flat lintels. The roof line has a brownstone coping, and is stepped up in the middle.
