DP Cigars

USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 30th Street, 265
 store / shop, apartment building

3-story residential building completed sometime around the 1860s. It is clad in red brick above a beige iron ground floor mostly taken up by a storefront with plate-glass show-windows on either side of a slightly-recessed, paneled wood-and-glass door. The display windows are framed by very slender colonnettes painted pale blue-green (as is the door), with red capitals. At the west end is the entrance to the upper floors, with a black metal door below a transom. The ground floor is topped by a beige metal cornice with two rows of tiny dentils, and a red (upper part) and pale-blue (lower part) fascia board interrupted by small brackets adorned by small star-shaped flowers.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows with grey stone sills and lintels with thin cornices. A rust-colored iron fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade, which is crowned by a bracketed, beige metal roof cornice.

The ground floor is occupied by DP Cigars.
