16-story residential building completed in 1929. Designed by XXXX, it is clad in brown brick and arranged in an H-shape, with light wells on both the east and west sides. The entrance is centered on the south facade, flanked by engaged, 2-story, fluted limestone columns with stylized capitals. The black metal-and-glass double-doors are covered by a rounded red canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. At the 2nd floor there is a casement window between the columns and their capitals, with a stone medallion above. On either side the lower two floors have a bay of three very narrow window slits. Farther to the east is a storefront consisting of an entrance bay with a glass door framed by a white brick surround, and two wider bays of plate-glass, while colored tiles on the piers. To the west is a small 1-bay storefront with a glass door next to a window, and then two bays of single-windows, as well as a basement entrance at the west end. The 2-story base is capped by a band of brick laid in a different bond and a limestone string course, stepped up slightly at the center bay.
The upper floors have a double-window in the center bay. To the right are a single-window bay and two more double-windows, while to the left is a narrow, smaller single-window, a double-window, and then another of each. The top two floors have the same brick pattern as that which caps the base, and the roof line is marked by a band of brighter brick with large terra-cotta medallions over the three main middle bays.
The east elevation is also brick, with the interior of the light well having beige-yellow brick. The east-facing wall of the light well has a double-window flanked by small bathroom windows and small recessed balconies with metal railings, while the south- and north-facing side walls of the light well have a single-window paired with a smaller bathroom window.
The building contains 126 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by Subway sandwiches, and an espresso bar.
