5-story Romanesque/Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1889. It is clad in red brick above a limestone ground floor and basement level. A low stoop crosses the basement areaway and leads to a recessed, central entrance with a black wood-and-glass door, sidelight, and transom. The entry is flanked by pilasters with vertical grooves near the tops, with Corinthian capitals surmounted by curved brackets carrying a cornice; in between is a panel carved with foliate ornament. The facade has thin, rough banding on either side, with a pair of wide single-windows topped by round-arches with more carved ornament. There is an entrance to a basement commercial space below the east window, accessed by a steep set of iron stairs; the basement is occupied by Lion's Mane Salon.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows with beige stone lintels and sills, each joined between the bays. A black metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade, which is crowned by a cream-colored metal roof cornice with brackets, modillions, and panels.
