5-story (plus raised basement) Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1889. It is clad in red-painted brownstone, rough-faced at the basement level. The main entrance is centered, mid-level between the basement and 1st floor, atop two brick steps. It has a a black wood-and-glass door, sidelight, and 3-over-2 pane transom between projecting pilasters topped by fluted brackets that frame a panel of Renaissance ornament. There is a large single-window on either side; below the western one is a basement entrance with a black metal door, and below the eastern one is a square basement window with an iron grille.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows, with full stone surrounds including bracketed sills and cornices. A black metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays of the facade, which is crowned by a Queen Anne-style black metal roof cornice with brackets and modillions at the ends, and a raised middle section with a pair of sunbursts above a decorative frieze.

The exposed front part of the east elevation is stuccoed and painted tan, with no openings.
