Twin 5-story residential building originally completed sometime in the mid-late 1800s as townhouses. The facades were completely rebuilt, and the buildings converted to apartments in the early 1900. The unified facade is clad in red brick above a ground floor of brown-painted stone. There are two separate entrances, one for each address, located next to each other at the middle of the facade, down a couple steps from the sidewalk. They have black wood-and-glass door and sidelights set in white-painted wooden enframements; a white metal canopy covers both entrances.

To both sides are two single-windows. The upper floors have a total of four bays of narrow double-windows with white metal framing. A continuous brick sill course runs below each floor, and metal air-conditioning vents have been cut below the windows at the No. 319 half of the facade. The roof line is crenelated, with stone coping, and iron railings in between each crenelation.
