Texas State Highway 6

Texas State Highway 6. This segment of the Texas highway goes from Waco (where it veers off into Loop 340) to Hempstead (where it plays second fiddle to 290). Briefly it shares TX-105 traffic in Navasota, but in addresses it is never referred as such.

From Highway 21 to Hearne, it also shares the US-190 nameplate but it is still referred to as Texas State Highway 6. Additionally, after sharing US-190 to Hearne, it carries US-79 traffic briefly as well.

In College Station-Bryan while bypassing Texas Avenue it's known as Earl Rudder Freeway, while in Hearne (while still holding onto US-190), it's known as Market Street. In Calvert, it's called Main Street. Other than those instances, it's usually just called Texas 6 or Highway 6.

Due to the length of this road, some places do share addresses.
