Brazos County is a county located between the Brazos and Navasota rivers in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 194,851. The county seat is Bryan. As of 2014, the population is estimated at 206,886 (Onboard Infomatics).

Formed in 1841 from portions of historical Washington County, Brazos County is named after the Brazos River, which forms its western border. The Navasota River forms the county's eastern borders. The Texas Brazos Trail, which offers tourists scenic views of wildflowers and forests, passes through the county, and there are recreational parks for boating and fishing on several of the county's lakes and reservoirs. The centerpiece is Texas A&M University, one of the largest campuses in the country, which draws thousands seasonally.
