5-story Italianate residential building completed in 1873. Designed by John B. McIntyr and Julius Boekell & Son, it was originally built as a 2.5-story dwelling around 1815. In 1897, the 3-bay facade was moved several feet to the west due to the widening of Lafayette Street. It appears that McIntyre’s Italianate style facade, which remains largely intact, was re-assembled instead of being replaced. It is painted grey, with white-painted, curved lintels over the windows, and white-painted sills with corbelled feet. The building is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with brackets and paneled fascia board, and has a black metal fire escape on the right side. The ground floor is occupied by 16 Handles frozen yogurt.
