6-story building completed in 1879. Designed by John Correja for the linen and lace importing firm Mills & Gibb. It is clad in white stone and cast-iron. On the long facade facing Grand Street, the 4-window center bays and 3-window end bays have Corinthian columns (Doric at the ground floor) separating the windows. In between are two 7-window bays with the same columns on the ground floor, but squared double pilasters above. These bays alternate windows with grey-green cast-iron panels. The main entrance is on the southwest corner, surrounded by reddish-brown granite. Each of the side facades have two bays of six windows, with exterior shutters. All three facades are crowned by a bracketed and dentiled roof cornice.

The International Culinary Center was founded as the French Culinary Institute in 1984.
