7-story mid-century modern residential building completed in 1976. It is clad in dark red brick. The main entrance is on the south facade on 16th Street, east of center. It has stainless-steel framed glass doors in an Art-Deco style, with a matching window directly to the west and two more to the east, all recessed in a surround of polished black granite. The rest of the ground floor is fronted by planters with low brick walls, broken by a metal service door to the west, and the entrance and exit to the underground parking garage at the east end. There is also a single-window between the main entrance and garage, and the west end has a glass-and-stone storefront.
The upper floors on the south facade have windows arranged into five groupings. In the middle are two double-windows around a single-window bay. The group to either side has two double-windows bays (covered by fire escapes). The westernmost group has a single-window paired with a smaller window, and a double-window, while the easternmost group has a single-window bay and then two double-windows. All of the windows within each grouping are connected at the top and bottom by thin stone bands, and there are metal air-conditioning vents below many of the windows. A simple brick parapet marks the roof line.
The ground floor on the west facade is lined with storefronts, and extends to the north a little past the upper floors, where there is an extra storefront. The upper floors have six bays of double-windows, along with a single-window bay between the northern two double-windows, and another single-window bay between the 2nd & 3rd double-windows from the south. There is another fire escape running down two of the double-window bays.
The building contains 70 apartment units. The ground floor at the west end is occupied by Petite Optique, and Dunkin'.
