188-foot, 21-story modern-style cooperative-apartment building completed in 1964. Designed by Philip Birnbaum & Associates, it is clad in white brick with casement windows very similar to the Wedgwood House building next door, which was completed just a few years earlier. The very long ground floor is lined with storefronts and a central entrance, framed in two stories of black stone and with a suspended glass-and-steel awning covering two sets of sliding glass doors. At the far west end is an exit from the underground parking garage, with the entry ramp at the far east end.

Two sections of the facade flanking the center are projected slightly forward and have horizontal bands of brown brick across the spandrels. The casement windows are either two, three or five panes wide. There are a series of small, angled setbacks above the 17th floor, and projecting terraces.

The ground floor is occupied by Garden of Eden produce store, Pressed Juicery, Le Cafe Coffee, Baked by Melissa cookies, Spear Physical Therapy, Jooy Tea Shoppe, QQ Nails & Spa, Live by the Sword tattoo, and Subway sandwiches.
