 apartment building, 1960_construction

7-story residential building competed in 1960. Designed by Hyman Isaac Feldman, it has a central courtyard separating two main structures on West 14th and 13th Streets. Both are clad in red brick with metal-framed windows. The 14th Street side is wider, with three shallow recessed areas filled by fire escapes. The center one has two double-window bays, with both of the outer ones spanning a single double-window bay. The recessed sections separate four wings - the two outer ones each having two bays of double-windows, and the two middle ones having a double-window flanked by single-windows. A metal railing along the roof line follows the in-and-out zigzag of the facade.

The 13th Street side has two narrow, 1-bay recessed areas with red fire escapes. The outer two wings have two bays of double-windows, and the middle wing has one bay of double-windows flanked by single-windows. Like the facade on the opposite side, a metal railing surrounds the roof line. The main residential entrance has a green canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. At the far west end of the ground floor is an underground parking garage entrance and exit. The ground floor on 14th Street is occupied by I&L Hair, NY Star Men Spa, Dental 365, TD Podiatry, Brows Studio, Thrift NYC, and Umbrella Health.
