141-foot, 14-story mid-century modern cooperative-apartment building completed in 1964. Designed by Philip Birnbaum & Associates, it is the northern building of a 2-building complex separated by a courtyard in the middle of the block. They are clad in light-brown brick, with casement windows of two, three or five panes. The center section is projected slightly forward, and has a 4-bay wide, 2-story entry surround of grey granite. Each of these four bays has a peaked black canvas canopy over it, supported by metal poles, with the easternmost one (covering the sliding glass doors of the main entrance) extending farther out onto the sidewalk. There are landscaping beds in front of the rest of the ground floor.

Near the ends of the facade, just inside the narrow end bays, are wide, projecting, glassed-in balconies. The ground floor of the western end bay has an entrance to the underground parking garage. The two buildings together have 489 apartments.
