5-story (including raised basement) residential building completed in 1866 as a pair of matching, very narrow row houses. They are clad in brownstone, with altered lower floors. Both sides have a recessed entrance set a few steps down from the sidewalk, with black wood-and-glass doors. Next to each is a commercial window with an iron grille at the low ground floor. The 2nd floors differ, with two segmental-arched French windows in the northern half, and a square-headed 4-part window in the southern, but both have low iron railings in front. The top floors have one window at each address, with brownstone surrounds and thin string courses between floors. The facade is crowned by a metal roof cornice, painted brown at the southern half and black at the northern half, with scrolled end brackets.
