9-story Neo-Gothic/postmodern residential building originally completed in 1904 as the parish house for the adjoining church. From the mid-1960's to 1975 it housed the Adams School for Exceptional Children (or, those with neurological disabilities). It was renovated and altered to residential use in 1981.
It is clad in red brick (and limestone on the original 4-story Neo-Gothic structure). This lower facade is divided into two parts, the western one wider. The ground floor at the western section has five stone pointed-arches with double-windows, with the middle one instead containing the modernized main entrance. It has a slightly-projecting glass enclosure with a glass door centered in it. A partial, red canvas canopy connects to a peaked, metal-framed glass canopy that extends out over the sidewalk, between a pair of low, red-brick walls enclosing plantings. Below the two western bays are pairs of small, square windows with iron grilles. Extending from the end of the smaller eastern wall is a basement areaway enclosed by black metal fencing. The 2nd & 3rd floors of the west section have five bays of double-windows in quoined stone surrounds; the 3rd-floor windows are round-arched within the surrounds. Topping the 3rd floor is a small gable with a small double-window at the 4th floor, crowned by a finial.
The narrower but taller east section has stacked double-windows flanking stacked triple-windows at the first floor, with shorter basement windows directly below. These all have stone framing and quoins. The next level has another stack of windows in the same pattern, also with lower windows that lack the stone framing. Stone quoins also frame the end piers at the lower floors. The upper floors of this section have a triple stack of windows, with single-windows on either side of two stacks of triple-windows, and an additional trio of round-arched windows on top, at the base of the larger gable, which is crowned by another finial.
Set back behind and above the original facade are additional brick floors. They each have eight bays of double-windows, without the elaborate Gothic ornament seen below. A metal railing marks the roof line. The building now contains 30 condominium units.
