Kips Bay is a neighborhood on the eastside of the midtown area of New York City's Borough of Manhattan. Like other neighborhoods in New York City, the boundaries of Kips Bay are somewhat vague, but it is usually considered to be the area between 23rd Street and 34th Streets, extending from the East River to Third or even Lexington Avenues, though lately some have regarded it as stretching as far north as 38th. street. Often Kips Bay is linked to neighboring regions such as Murray Hill, Midtown East, or Gramercy.It is part of Manhattan Community Board 6.
