Astoria is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is home to a diverse population of Greeks, Italians, Arabs, Eastern Europeans, Latinos, and Ex-Manhattanites.

It is located in the northwestern corner of the borough of Queens within Queens Community Board 1 and is a part of the larger Long Island City district. It includes within it the sub-neighborhoods of Ditmars-Steinway in the north and Astoria Heights in the northeast. Astoria is bounded by the East River and is adjacent to three other Queens neighborhoods: Ravenswood (bordering at Broadway & 31st street), Sunnyside (bordering at Northern Boulevard), and Woodside (bordering at 68th Street). Astoria is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 114th Precinct.
