Named after Kenneth Langone who gave $100mill in 1999 and then again in 2008. They have also recived $100mil from Fiona and Stanley F. Druckenmiller in 2009. It is also home to the NYU Robert I. Grossman School of Medicine which was named in 2019 after the dean of the school. The first itineration was designed in 1948 by Skidmore, Owings & Merill; the Skiball Center of Molecular Biology was added by the Polshek Partnership in 2008. In 2018, Ennead Architects designed the Kimmel and Hassenfeld Pavillions. A large greenspace garden was designed along with the project by Joanna Pertz Landscape Architecture.
