The first floor of this building used to house Farmers & Merchants State Bank (March 1923 [originally located at 741 Superior Street]-February 26, 1944 [relocated to 201 Broadway on March 1, 1944 after merging with Kilbourn State Bank on January 5, 1944]), restaurants Dells Cafeteria (mid 1940's-late 1970's), Upper Crust Pizza (1980's-c. early 2000PB), and Cheesehouse/Cheese Haus (c. Spring 2000PB-c. May 2004PB); the second floor of this building used to house Tofson Insurance Agency until around mid 1940's.

Reopened on October 24, 2025 after the original owners Justin Draper and Wade Bernander handed this restaurant to the new owners. Justin is now a chef at Dawn Manor, while Wade Bernander is now a home repairman.

High Rock, a beloved restaurant located in Wisconsin Dells, WI, has been satisfying the local community since its founding in 2004.
