The center of Wisconsin Dells, which is filled with locally owned shops (mostly gift and souvenir), restaurants, bars, museums, tourist attractions, sporting venues, gaming/play areas, motels, churches, etc. The downtown area gets busier during the summer season, filled with tourists, mostly out-of-state and some outside the US. There are 9 parking lots (1 free parking, 8 pay public parking) here and the Amtrak train station is just a walking distance to downtown.

Downtown Wisconsin Dells sits in Columbia County and it is located east of the Wisconsin River.
