All Aboard the Safari Train (Old Fort Dells Engine #9)! Your Safari adventure begins at the Timbavati Train Depot. Your trip will take you over 1/2 mile (about 20 minutes) on newly laid track through a spacious pasture containing Oryx, Eland, Nilgai, and Zebu. These animals will approach the train and eat carrots from your hands. They are truly impressive! Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich, and Kangaroo, are just some of the other animals you may view during your Safari Train adventure.

The historic train was originally an attraction at the Old Fort Dells. We have enjoyed bringing this great piece of Dells history over to our Park, giving it a new home as the Safari Train Adventure at Timbavati Wildlife Park.

You may purchase the Safari Train ticket alone, or enjoy this experience plus a day at the park.
