213-foot, 19-story Art-Deco/Neo-Gothic residential building completed in 1930. Designed by Farrar & Watmough, it was built as one of developer Henry Mandel's Chelsea Corners towers. The main facades are clad in variegated orange brick above a 2-story limestone base. The entrance is centered on the north facade, in a recessed portico crowned by a drip molding with a panel depicting a mythic beast. Additional, small square panels continue to either side, above the ground floor, with more whimsical beasts. There is a small window on either side of the entrance. To the west are a then two regular-sized single-windows, a secondary door, two more windows, and a gated service door. To the east are a vent, two windows, and a storefront at the end.

The upper floors have end bays with paired windows, and in between are 11 bays of single-windows. Between some of them are the 2nd floor are Gothic-style panels, and the base is capped by a thin band course with rosettes. Thin projecting piers of brick frame the middle five bays above the base. The outer bays set back above the 15th floor, and the middle bays above the 18th, all marked by Art-Deco forms.

The ground floor along the avenue is lined by storefronts with plate-glass show-windows, while the rest of the facade is similar to the north elevation, but with two fewer window bays. Another difference is that the projecting thin piers at the center only extend up through the 4th floor, where they are topped by Gothic pyramidal stone capitals, with narrow, angled brick rods extending the rest of the way up to the 15th-floor setback. There are ornamental panels between the 3rd & 4th floors at the middle bays, and stone panels topping the 4th floor at these bays with Gothic trefoils. The windows in the bay next to the north end bay have also been replaced with smaller ones.

The building contains 175 apartment units. The ground floor at the east end is occupied by Mattress Firm, Blossom Brows Waxing Center, Yanni's Coffee, and J's Pizza.
