6-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1900 as two separate industrial loft buildings. They were connected and renovated into residential in the late 1970s, with 60 apartment units. The building fronts on both Mercer and Greene Streets - both sides have 2-story rusticated stone bases, with light brown brick above. The windows are all recessed. The main entrance is on Mercer, framed by two polished granite columns. A dentiled cornice separates the base from the upper floors. The outer bays project slightly with heavy rustications, and splayed rusticated lintels over the windows. The center section has windows grouped into threes, connected by continuous stone sills between the piers. Above a stone cornice, the top floor has round-arched windows with keystones. The facade is crowned by a bracketed roof cornice. The exposed north wall is clad in red-painted brick. The west elevation facing Green Street has the same design, minus the rusticated end bays.
