4-story residential building completed in the 1840s. It is clad in brick painted pale pink, above a modern storefront. The entrance to the upper floors is on the right, with an aluminum-framed frosted-glass door, sidelights, and transom. The three bays of windows have white stone sills and lintels, and the building is crowned by a grey-green bracketed cornice with roundels between each bracket. A slender fire escape runs down the center bay of windows. In the 1920s the building was occupied by a blacksmith shop and offices. In the 1930s the ground floor was combined with those of the two neighboring buildings to the south into an automobile repair and tire shop owned by Congo Tire and Rubber Company, which remained in the buildings until the 70’s. The ground floor is now occupied by Les Ateliers Courbet art gallery.
