3-story residential building completed in 1830 by Frederick Naugle, a carpenter, who built it as his own 2.5-story house. It shows evidence of late Federal style, even though it has been considerably altered. A white modillioned roof cornice of the mid-Nineteenth Century and the change in red-painted brickwork indicates that the house was raised to three stories at that time.
The ground floor is occupied by Frederic Malle perfume which was altered in 2014 by Steven Holl in a Postmodern style with lighting designed by L'Observatoire International.
