4-story Greek-revival residential building originally completed in 1847 as a rowhouse. In 1908 owners Cornelius and Townsend Pinkney extended the front of the building at the basement and first story (now the 1st and 2nd floors) and installed an iron glass and wood show window, designed by architect Charles M. Sutton. The 4-bay, slightly-bowed shopfront is made of iron, wood, and glass. Its first level has a central window flanked by pilasters and recessed doorways at the ends. The 2nd level has four large wood-framed windows topped by transoms and a red metal cornice.

The two upper floors are both three bays wide and clad in red brick. The windows have flat stone sills and lintels. At the roof line is a simple, dark-red painted metal cornice. Early tenants included dressmakers, a decorator, and a lace curtain store. The building was converted to apartments sometime in the late 1900s. The ground floor is occupied by Sugarfish Sushi, with Gramercy Pilates on the 2nd floor.
