4-story Greek-revival mercantile building completed in 1848 as a rowhouse. It was partially converted from a private residence to business use in the 1860s with the installation of a ground-story storefront. The ground story currently has a modern glass and black aluminum storefront. An entrance vestibule is located at the southern end.

The 2nd, 3rd & 4th floors are clad in red brick, and each have three square-headed window openings which get progressively shorter at each floor. A simple black iron cornice caps the facade.

The store was occupied by Anthony Lauch's confectioners in the 1860s and 1870s. Among the other early tenants in the building, typical of those in the district, were Everall Brothers, tailors, and Conrad's Bakery and Lunchroom. The ground floor is currently occupied by a Chipotle Mexican Grill.
