4-story Greek-revival residential/commercial building developed in 1847 as a rowhouse for the Manhattan Bank Company. It was first partially converted from a private residence of Daniel M. Edgar to commercial use in the late 1850s. The ground floor has a modern glass and aluminum storefront, and the 2nd floor has a large tripartite show window, part of which survives from a storefront alteration prior to 1910. Paired fluted iron pilasters with incised capitals flank the window, and it is topped by its original transom and a shallow modillioned cornice. The 3rd and 4th floors each have three square-headed windows. Those at the 3rd floor are topped by projecting molded lintels, while the openings at the 4th floor were increased in height in 1921. The facade is surmounted by a stepped brick parapet with ornamental brickwork also constructed in 1921.

The building's earliest commercial use was for Thomas Merceau's drug store and Margaret Gombault's boarding house. In the 1870s, Daprato & Gati's Eating Place occupied the ground floor. The present 2nd-floor show window was built as part of an alteration prior to 1910, probably in the mid-1880s. At the time of the 1921 alterations, the building was occupied by a men's furnishings store at the ground floor, a barber shop at the 2nd floor, and manufacturing above.

The ground floor is occupied by Inisfree. There are apartments on the two upper floors.
