 apartment building  Add category

6-story cooperative-apartment building originally completed as Federal-era rowhouse in the early 1800s. The upper floors were added sometime around the 1960s, when it was resurfaced in dark-grey stucco scored to resemble stone blocks. The 2nd- and 3rd-floor windows are segmental-arched, with white lintels. Small, white metal landings at the eastern windows connect to the fire escape on the adjoining building to the east. It was converted by Henry George Greene in 1979 to a cooperative-apartment complex that also includes the other eight buildings on the block. The ground floor is occupied by a portion of the Dojo restaurant.
