6-story cooperative-apartment building completed as a Federal-era rowhouse in the early 1800s. The upper floors were added sometime in the 1960s, when it was resurfaced with grey-painted stucco scored to resemble stone blocks. A white metal fire escape runs down the left two-thirds of the facade. It was converted by Henry George Greene in 1979 to a cooperative-apartment complex that also includes the other eight buildings on the block. The ground floor is occupied by Brow Zone.
