5-story residential building originally completed in the mid-1800s as a private dwelling. It was converted to a library and office space serving the Episcopal Diocese of New York in 1886. The Diocese owned the building until 1930. It was converted to apartments in 1958, when the facade was completely altered by architects Weschler & Schimenti. It has two bays of grouped windows (three on south, four on the north) with red brick cladding (white at the center area of the lower floors). The exposed southern elevation is clad in white-painted brick, with windows of various sizes.
