 apartment building, 1889_construction

5-story residential building completed in 1889. Designed by F.S. Barns as a store, a center pier divides the facade in halves. Above a cream-colored cast-iron storefront with a low set of stairs, the building is clad in tan brick, with connected rust-red stone window sills and lintels, as well as a pair of stone bands between each window. Above the ground-floor cornice, the facade has three windows per floor on each half. A white-painted metal fire escape covers the northern half, and breaks the bracketed and dentiled roof cornice at the north end. The ground floor is occupied by What Goes Around Comes Around vintage clothing.
