134-foot, 14-story postmodern residential building completed in 2000. Designed by Lucien Lagrange and Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron, it has a 2-story base of pre-cast concrete, and reddish-orange brick above. There is rustications on the ground floor, and concrete cornices above the 2nd and 3rd floors, as well as the 9th & 12th, and parts of the 11th (the central two bays on the north and south elevations are slightly recessed above the 9th floor). There are stone quoins at the corners of the building, and stone sills on the windows, some of which also have lintels connecting pairs of windows. The four center bays on the longer east elevation are also slightly recessed. At the top, there are concrete capitals on the piers supporting a dark green roof cornice. There are also a pair of shorter, 8-story wings on the west side of the building. The Hallmark was built as an assisted-living facility for senior citizens.
