7-story Beaux-arts cooperative-apartment building completed in 1892, renovated in 2006. Designed by Douglas Smyth as a store, office and light manufacturing building, it has a 2-story rusticated stone base, with blue cast-iron infill. There is a large, stone Ionic capital atop the center pier of the base. The upper floors are clad in brown brick, with projecting brick piers set on stone plinths dividing the facade into two halves, each with three windows. There are round-arched windows on the 3rd floor. The next three floors have connected stone sills and lintels and small cast-iron pilasters between the windows. The piers end at the top of the 6th floor in carved stone capitals, where a large cornice separates the top floor, which has two large, segmental-arched window bays. A rather plain parapet with a stone panel caps the facade. The upper portion of the south-facing side wall is faced in parged and painted brick, with windows toward the rear of the building. The ground floor is occupied by Soho Deli/Grocery.
