8-story residential building completed in 1901. Designed by Harry A. Jacobs as a store-and-loft building, it has a 2-story stone base, painted black at the bottom. The 2nd floor has a large segmental-arch crowned by a huge stone cartouche. Above a stone cornice, the upper floors are clad in red brick, with three bays of windows between very wide outer piers. There is another stone cornice above the 6th floor, with two more huge cartouches on either side of the facade. The 7th floor has five windows, framed in stone. The building is crowned by a simple brick parapet, and has an iron fire escape covering most of the facade. The ground floor is occupied by Agent Provocateur, a lingerie outlet known for its provocative window displays.
