3-story mercantile building completed around 1808 as a house owned by Conrad Brooks. This is the oldest existing building in Soho. The original brick facade has been stuccoed over, and exterior wooden shutters added to the windows. There is a small white metal fire escape fronting Spring Street. The lower 2-story wing on Mercer is occupied by Hat Club, and topped with a roof deck. The main section of the building is capped by a stone coping, and is currently occupied by Solstice Sunglass Boutique.
