5-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1884. Attributed to William Baker, although the building is identical to its neighbor to the south, only painted dark grey instead of white. The architect of No. 125, Henry Fernbach, died before the second building was erected (a year after the first), and an associate of his, William Baker, supervised the construction of the twin building. The facade is three bays wide, with fluted bases on the pilasters and Ionic columns. A bracketed and dentiled roof cornice crowns the facade, which has a black iron fire escape running down the right two-thirds. The ground floor of No. 127 is occupied by Kelley & Ping Asian grocery & noodle shop.
