5-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1883. Designed by Henry Fernbach as a store. Interestingly, this building is identical to its neighbor to the north, only painted white instead of dark grey - but the architects are different. Fernbach died before the second building was erected (a year after the first), and an associate of his, William Baker, supervised the construction of the twin building. Three bays wide, the pilasters and Ionic columns have fluted bases. The facade is crowned by a bracketed and dentiled roof cornice, and white metal fire escape runs down the right two-thirds. The ground floor of No. 125 is occupied by Kisan Concept Store.
