5-story cast-iron cooperative-apartment building completed in 1873. Designed by John B. Snook as a store, it shares its facade with No. 66 next door, which has three bays, while No. 68 is four bays across. The ground floor is painted black, with tall rounded cast-iron columns. The upper floors are grey with squared pilasters, and a bracketed and modillioned roof cornice. A green metal fire escape runs down the center two bays. The ground floor is occupied by Diesel Denim Gallery.
