5-story cast-iron cooperative-apartment building completed in 1873. Designed by Henry Fernbach as a store, it is six bays wide and painted white; Square pilasters framed the end bays, with columns dividing the center bays. The columns and pilasters have fluted bases on the ground floor, which is capped by a modillioned cornice. The upper floors have segmental-arched windows with red-painted frames. At the 2nd floor outer bays are low balustrades, and all the pilasters on the upper floors have fluted upper portions. A white metal fire escape runs down the northern two bays. The cornice is crowned by a restrained curved pediment encompassing the date "1872". An early electric cast-iron streetlamp is in front of this building. The ground floor is occupied by Trespa and Arpa design centers.
