5-story cast-iron residential building completed in 1885. Designed by W.H. Hume as a commercial building, it has a white cast-iron storefront, and a white stone facade above. It is divided into three bays by paneled pilasters, with the entrance in the center bay, up a narrow stoop of black metal steps. Glass transoms top the bays of the ground floor, which is capped by a dentiled cornice The 2nd-3rd floors have rusticated piers on the edges and deeply-carved spandrel panels in between the floors. A projecting cornice separates the top two floors, and the building is crowned by a bracketed roof cornice. There is a white metal fire escape as well.
