4-story Federal-style residential building completed in 1826 as a 3.5-story dwelling. It was raised to four full floors in 1891, with a red brick facade, organized into three bays. The windows have black-painted stone sills and metal cornices, and a narrow black iron fire escape runs down the center. The building is capped by a black metal roof cornice with brackets and a fascia board that extends down to the window cornices of the top floor. The ground floor is occupied by Toad Hall pub.
