5-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in about 1863 as a store. The building extends through the block to 47 Howard Street. Both facades are clad in white stone, with complete window enframements and corbelled feet on the sills. On the Canal side, there is a single triangular pediment above the center window on the 2nd floor, and a small balustrade below it. A black metal roof cornice has four brackets extending far down below the fascia board. The ground floor is occupied by Madness Boutique.
