5-story cast-iron mercantile building completed in 1874. Designed by Charles Mettam, the building was orignally a pepper factory. The south end, fronting Broome Street, is cast-iron, with three bays of windows on the south side and two on the west, each separated by slender rounded Doric columns. Each floor is marked by a projecting cornice. Along West Broadway, the building extends back with five bays of windows in a red brick facade. Each window has stone sills with corbelled feet and eared lintels. A modillioned roof cornice caps the facade. A black metal fire escape covers two of the bays. The ground floor is occupied by Badichi custom belts, Soho Gem, and Cleo & Patek boutique.
