5-story residential building completed in 1860 as three joined store buildings. It extends through the block to Mercer Street, with nine bays of windows. The main facade facing Broadway is clad in white marble, with full window enframements, above a cast-iron ground floor. Black iron balconies span almost the entire width of the facade, which is capped by a simple roof cornice. The rear of the building on Mercer is clad in red brick, with green- and grey-painted sections of brick and metal. It also has iron balconies spanning the facade, as well as green exterior shutters around the windows. There is a corbelled brick cornice at the roof line and an elevator equipment penthouse rising above. The residential entrance on this street is raised above street level and has a narrow stoop.

The ground floor on Broadway is occupied by Aldo, and a Verizon wireless store. On Mercer Street, the ground floor is occupied by Balenciaga, and Versani jewlery. At this address is where Stanwix Hall once stood - a fancy saloon that witnessed the February 24, 1855 shooting of Know-Nothing leader Bill ''The Butcher'' Poole, which inspired the Gangs of New York film.
