5-story Neo-Grec/Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1884. Designed by John P. Schweikert, who also owned and constructed the building, it is clad in rusticated brownstone on the ground floor, with reddish-brown brick above. The doorway is framed by two narrow pilasters with carved flowers. There are also foliate panels below both of the ground-floor windows; the floor is topped by a cornice. On the 4-bay-wide upper floors, corbelled band course run along the bases of each floor, with smaller corbelled string courses connecting the tops of the windows, which have stone lintels and cornices. A metal fire escape runs down the center of the facade, which is topped by a bracketed metal roof cornice with dentils and carved swag in the fascia board.
