5-story residential building completed in about 1830 as a tenement building. The original facade was removed in 1870 when Laurel Street (now West Broadway) was widened (to accommodate the elevated train). In the mid-20th century, the roof cornice was removed and replaced with a new parapet, and cement stucco was applied to the 4-bays facade in the late 20th century. The northern elevation has only two bays of windows near the center, and a large advertisement covering most of the wall. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor.
