6-story Romanesque-revival residential building completed in 1886. Designed by Oscar S. Teale as a store-and-loft building, it has dark-red brick frontages on both West Broadway and Thompson Street, and its upper floors have been converted to loft apartments. The bottom of the facade has large 3-story round-arches (three arches on West Broadway, and six on Thompson) with cast-iron infill on both streets. The upper three floors have smaller segmental-arched windows on the Thompson Street side, while the West Broadway side has smaller 2-story arches on the 4th & 5th floor, with individual round-arched windows on the top floor only, below a corbelled brick parapet. The ground floor is occupied by Axelle Fine Arts Galerie, and Rotella Gallery.
