Add category
5-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1854. Designed by John B. Snook or Griffith Thomas, it has two facades, both clad in brownstone, and each three bays wide. The southern portion has full stone window enframements featuring curved lintels. These have been removed from the northern section of the facade. Both sections are crowned by a black metal roof cornice with brackets and dentils. Both sides have fire escapes, but of differing designs. The building originally opened as the St. Nicholas Hotel. The ground floor houses Puma - a sneaker store, and Lady Foot Locker.
